While this review is not entirely meant to dissuade anyone from joining, I believe everyone considering an offer should be aware of these facts, so there are no confusions in the future. FullThrottle functions less like an independent company and more like a department within the larger Stream organization. Over the years, legacy employees who are most in upper management have accumulated roles and influence across both entities. This accumulation gives them continuity and security regardless of performance. By contrast, new employees never have that base to fall back on. They are treated as expendable. Roughly 4% are fired each month, meaning half the workforce turns over annually. The company does not do layoffs—terminations are framed “for cause,” regardless of contribution, to make churn look like individual failure. The deeper issue is structural: the company has not posted a profit in six years. Its survival depends on outside investor money, not customer revenue. Clients are props for “growth” stories, not true drivers of sustainability. Most important: Merit does not matter here. Delivering real technical value will not protect you. Advancement and security flow from accumulated legacy standing, politics, and appearances—not from contribution. Regulatory culture Even required regulations are treated as optional guidelines. For example, encrypting PII data was proposed but management turned it down, claiming the operations would demand too many hardware resources. Compliance and security took a back seat to short-term convenience. On a personal note This was the most unprofessional environment I have ever come across. Expect to be talked down to and disrespected regardless of your skill level. This is the kind of place where you will hear “because I am your manager.” I was threatened with termination simply for showing initiative. And sometimes, do not be surprised if the mask of professionalism drops completely.
