This place has gone from a well-organized workplace to a chaotic, toxic, mismanaged circus after the leadership changes and Scrum model. The model is a joke, you’re expected to be an expert in domains you’ve never touched and still make system-level changes or find business bugs. Great thinking whoever thought this is a good idea. Engineers are treated like factory workers, with fear used to push performance. Work-life balance is nonexistent. One bad day and you’re thrown into a production issue you know nothing about, with impossible deadlines. Miss them, and you’re dragged into off-hours calls with the ceo and dozens of people, where you’re shouted at and ridiculed for things you never worked on or knew about. Everything is urgent, weekends and overtime are glanorized, the codebase is a mess now because nobody knows what they are working on. They are just saving themselves by delivering whats asked.
