Meet Josh Lowe, new regional vice president of Morning Pointe Senior Living's Smoky Region. He oversees 10 assisted living and memory care communities in the Knoxville, Tennessee, area and started his career in senior care as a CNA. He has been in senior living management for more than 15 years. “I feel so privileged to work for Morning Pointe at this time in my career with their solid reputation,” said Josh. “I like that the company is committed to doing things the right way and is based on Christian values.”
Meet Travis Large, director of nursing at Morning Pointe of Russell, Kentucky, Assisted Living. Travis started his nursing career as a phlebotomist, then as a certified nursing assistant and EMT. Travis worked at Morning Pointe of Russell as a CNA before finishing his LPN training in Florida. He spent 8 years working for Mayo Clinic in Florida and moved back to Russell for his family. "Mayo helped prepare me for this position," he said. "I like to listen to the residents’ stories. I’ve learned a lot about life from them."

Meet Sarabeth Wilkins, LPN, executive director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Collegedale (TN). She oversees daily operations at the memory care community and has a background as a director of nursing. “Working with seniors is truly what I was created to do,” Sarabeth said. “Collegedale Lantern is such a special place. I love the smaller, homey feel of my community, which I feel is important when caring for those with dementia/Alzheimer’s. Morning Pointe as a company has been great to work for – everyone I have worked with from the home office seems to truly care about the staff at the community level and wants to see us succeed."
Dawn Pittman is the Senior Lantern Program Director at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, Lexington KY. She plans and oversees activities for residents with memory loss. “We are creating meaningful and engaging days for our residents,” Dawn explained. “We’re here to connect with the residents and build relationships and have fun with them.” Dawn started at Morning Pointe 7 years ago as an RA and has grown her career over the years even winning the Leadership Award this year from the Kentucky Senior Living Association!
Meet Tristan Pruitt, executive director at Morning Pointe of Franklin, Indiana, Assisted Living and Memory Care. She was originally the Lantern program director, leading purposeful activities for the memory care wing at the community, before earning her administrator's license. “I love working with seniors because they remind me of the simpler times,” Tristan said. “I love to listen to their stories." She added, “I like that Morning Pointe truly feels like a small, family-oriented company."
