Meet our Payoneer Volunteer, Nida, a stellar Marketing Manager for Pakistan, dedicated to making a difference beyond the office walls! 💼 “My day to day involves making sure that our customers are aware of our great mission, our amazing products and are using it without any problem” "I firmly believe in exceeding the norm to deliver value," shares Nida. In her second year as a Payoneer volunteer, she focused on women empowerment and inclusion “Being a woman, women empowerment, inclusion and their financial independence is a cause close to my heart.” Collaborating with the Arfa Karim Foundation became a pivotal moment, aligning with the vision of a digital Pakistan to drive women's financial independence while honoring Pakistan's prodigy. The workshop became a hub for engaging with students and young professionals, revealing an inspiring truth - every woman aspired for career excellence can do it, and the young men present were eager allies. “Overall, it brought us together to reflect on challenges and how we as a society with the help of mindset change can help our youth to overcome it” summarize Nida.
Meet Gary, our Integration Engineer Tech Lead, who exemplifies the true spirit of giving back during our Global Week of Good! 🌎🙏 In his 12 years at Payoneer, Gary's dedication to helping others shines through both in his professional role working with business clients from all over the world to integrate the Payoneer API's in their platform, and in his volunteer efforts. Here's a glimpse into his impactful experience: "Leaving my comfort zone for a few hours is worthwhile if I can make a difference to help others in need," shares Gary Amidst challenges caused by the recent war, Gary and a team of 20 people volunteered to help Avocado farmers facing labor shortages. “The situation encouraged me to volunteer and help as much as I can.” Engaging in physical labor wasn't easy, “but to see the results of our work was very satisfying. It was wonderful to see that everyone in the volunteering group was engaged in helping and getting the work done.” The most rewarding aspect? The genuine gratitude expressed by the farmer, leaving Gary with a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment. Gary's dedication to making a difference, even for a few hours, is a testament to the impact each of us can create when we come together to support those in need.

This is my 2nd time volunteering, as part of Payoneer’s “Global Week of Good”, and it has impacted me in the most positive way! I know that I am doing good for others and the community, which provides me with a natural sense of accomplishment, and I’ve made many good friends along the way. Through volunteering, I’ve learned that ‘it feels good to do good!’ shares Fritzmyre Cherubin, Global Payments Specialist, NY Fritzmyre volunteering in 2 projects out of 25 global volunteering projects. “I kicked off Payoneer's Global Week of Good by participating in the New York Cares Coat Drive, where I donated almost 20 coats to contribute to their goal of 100,000. In their biggest coat drive yet, my donation will help provide warmth to over 70,000 New Yorkers this winter. Impacted by terrorism, families forced to flee their homes in mere moments, leaving cherished belongings, memories, and valuables behind. It's a heartbreaking reality, but in these trying times, our mission is clear: to extend a helping hand to those in need. We share the amazing journey of "עוטפים במחשבים" initiative of providing computers to thousands of families in need. Together with incredible companies like SolarEdge Technologies, ActiveFence, Optimove, Torq, Torii, Communix, RADCOM, Cyberbit, Avgol Nonwovens, Raft Technologies, and Percepto - Autonomous Drones, we've come together to make a difference. Through this initiative, we provided 153 computers to families impacted by terrorism in Kibbutz Beeri, Kibbutz Kfar Aza, and Sderot. We believe in empowering the next generation, and these computers will enable the children to play, learn, and embrace the joy that life has to offer. Together, we're creating a brighter future, even in the face of adversity. ✨ Let's continue to demonstrate our strength and resilience to the world. We won't be broken.
Yesterday, Payoneer embraced the true spirit of giving back to our soldiers and fellow citizens living in the South. With the help of 200 dedicated employees, their children, and our leadership, we were able to pack over 300 packages filled with essentials to help make their days a little brighter. The IT-Ops team also made a significant contribution by donating 40 computers to those who were displaced from their homes. We're proud to call this the Payoneer spirit, and we are working on our next volunteering.
