I applied online. The next day, I was contacted by phone to set up an interview. Their office was "under construction", code for barely existing. Very basic office. I was interviewed by the company's 'president', who explained that his company was a subdivision of Smart Circle selling DirecTV to customers inside of Sam's club and Best Buy, etc. This was not in the job description that was online, and especially not on their website, which has a lot of words for not very much content, plus it has three quotes at the top that are inspirational but as far as I can tell look like they were put there by someone who just googled "inspirational quotes relating to profit" without understanding what they mean. To top it all off, for someone who looked to be only about 10 years older than me at most (I'm 21) he was giving me the equivalent of the "I can show you the world" speech to try to get me to buy in. I offered my services to help him improve his website and he basically shooed me out of his office.
