Application was completed online, since I knew one of the hiring managers I was sure to include his name as a referral. I'm sure that's how my name got boosted to the top. I was called in for a group interview by the very guy that I knew, however interview was conducted by the General Manager. The entire hiring class was directed to a theater where she talked with us all. We learned about the company what they had to offer and was then made to partner off and do some role playing selling the coveted AMC stubs card. About 2 weeks later, I hadn't heard anything so I contacted the hiring manager. Once I got up with him I was told I had earned the position and that I was to start that same night! Apparently the manager that was supposed to call the applicants skipped over my name. -___-
