I applied for an accounting role and was contacted pretty quickly for a phone interview. The interviewer had little knowledge of the position and didn’t seem too interested in interviewing me, so it was a challenge. We went through a series of basic questions concerning my background, and I was then asked if I knew a specific software. I told him no and asked him to refer to my resume (it listed all the software that I was proficient in), and he condescendingly told me that that would be an issue. He told me that he wanted to set up another phone interview with the hiring manager for later that week and then briskly ended the interview. He never emailed, and after I followed up, I received no reply. Totally unprofessional and a waste of my time.
