The first interview was a Zoom interview with HR. It went quite well and verbally they invited me to interview with them in person. Didn't hear back for about a week or two until they sent another email to ask what times work for me to have a second round. I replied but didn't hear from them for weeks, and I figured they had another person in mind and were simply stringing me along in case their first choice didn't work out. My theory seemed correct when I got an email 3 weeks later telling me they were going in another direction for this role and/or that my location was not a match to what they were looking for. Didn't mind, but simply wished they were clear from the very beginning and did not waste my time.
