I wore a dress shirt, slacks, dress shoes and a tie and was told I was overdressed for the interview. The interview was nothing more than small talk and I received an offer of employment within hours of the interview. The comment and the speed of the offer were red flags that I did not recognize at the time. Learn from my error.
