Get ready for a lot of interviews with little to show for it. 4 interviews around 45-60 minutes each, with different department members asking the same questions and seeming somewhat uninterested in the process. HR does a decent job reaching out for scheduling, at least until after the fourth interview when they decide to ghost you. All around, what a lack of professionalism.

I applied to Adlucent in March this year through a referral. I passed the initial interview and take-home test, but the hiring process was paused due to the economic downturn. In November, I saw that Adlucent was hiring for January 2024 classes and contacted the administrative coordinator who initially interviewed me to express my interest in the company. Thankfully, I could continue the interview process, but I was surprised to learn that I had to complete a new part of the take-home test I had already completed in March. The new requirement was to create a slide presentation with additional information and be interviewed on it. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the second round of interviews. It was frustrating to take a step backward during the process just because of a new requirement. I have decided not to reapply to Adlucent in the future, as the experience felt like a waste of my time.
