I’ve been through two interview loops at Adobe. Both experiences could be politely described as “highly organic and unstructured”.
No recruiter, hiring manager or team member could tell me what to anticipate. The quantity of interviews needed, the list of interview participants and the timing gave me the impression it was the first time anyone at Adobe had hired someone.
The first was in the Experience Cloud team, home to digital marketing tools. The second interview loop was in the Creative Cloud team where the photo and video editing tools reside.
I did not get a job offer for either role which was disappointing. I admire Adobe’s products and the high marks given to the company by its employees. I would apply and interview again. If there’s a next time, I would press the recruiter to tightly define the process and timeline ahead to save everyone the trouble.
