The recruiter was 30 minutes late to the first call, and I had to remind them about the scheduled meeting. The role description was vague, with discouraging statements like, "the team needs someone to make their life easier" and "we are building the rocket while flying it" which gave the impression of unclear expectations and a divide between candidates and the team. After the initial call, I received an automated email with a case study to submit in a week. The assignment felt rushed, and the project provided was broken, requiring me to fix it before I could even start. This crucial detail was not communicated, resulting in a significant loss of time. After submitting the case study on time, I followed up after a week and was told the team had received several successful submissions, they need more time to review them and they will get back to me asap. Despite following up twice more, I never received any feedback or an update, which left me feeling ghosted and undervalued. If you value your time and professional respect, I would recommend approaching this company with caution.
