Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso After-School All-Stars

      Colloquio

I was first given a phone interview and then a virtual in-person interview. I had prepared a portfolio of my work and written down some relevant questions to ask the interviewer. Turns out it was a " pre-interview" with someone who did not know anything about the specifics of the role I had applied to. A third person was on the video call but would not turn their camera on and did not say anything. A week later I was asked to prepare a detailed presentation on activities and lessons I would be able to do that would be suitable for a broad age range. I was not given any other details( would this be for a summer camp program, how many students, etcetera) outside of " use your creativity!" to go on. Also I was told this at 4:45 via email on a Friday. My interview was scheduled for the following Monday morning I decided to give it a shot anyway and came up with original programs and activities, along with several detailed power point presentations I had done in the past. During that interview another person was present and would not give me a chance to speak. They kept going on about how I probably wouldn't be comfortable with going into areas their participating school is located in. I actually am from the same area and lived there until just a few years ago. I was not even given a chance to show the presentation I had spent the weekend working on. I got a request to do a third interview. They wanted me to do this during my regular work hours that I had informed them of. When I told them I couldn't take more time off work in order to do these interviews and would need to find coverage first. I did not receive a response for several days. I then received a short notice email informing me that I would need to provide an even more detailed original curriculum lesson plan and a series of detailed activities and lesson plans having to do with my field along with a series of tasks I was meant to put into prioritized order. At this point I was so annoyed I almost did not go to the interview. I did anyway and again, was not given the chance to actually present the required work I had done. I was told I could just email them the PDFs I would hear ba I never heard back. I feel like they atleast could have have showed me the decency of a " sorry but we're not interested" email.

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso After-School All-Stars (Las Vegas, NV) nel mese di nov 2017

      Colloquio

The interview was the Executive Director the Program Director and myself. I was about an hour long. The Directors went back and forth in asking me questions? I was also asked to prepare a strategic plan for a new program.
