The whole interview was vague and shady. They kept trying to pass off as a nonprofit, when that’s not what they are. They are a marketing firm. They try to make it seem like they are interviewing you to be an event coordinator for nonprofit fundraisers, but you don’t find out until you’re hired that it’s basically a sales gig. I was also not informed I would be a 1099 employee. I had to find out through a training document.
