Got a referral for the staff software engineer role.
HR called the next and scheduled the interview with some senior guy.
He was asking questions without waiting for me to answer. Initailly I was able to answer his questions and then he moved on the asking question on topic that I had already told that I don't have experience on it but still kept asking the same questions.. At the end he asked a very abstract system design question and when I started asking clarifying questions he started repeating the same question over and over without giving me time to ask question. So I decided that I rather open an online draw.io tool and start design stuff, to which he told me that he wants me to write everything.. I did that taking care of the things he wanted to take care of. Then he started pointing out issues in it without giving me time to answer and ended the call.
I don't understand why are some people are allowed to take interviews which they themselves are not clear about what do they want. Its like taking interview with a already made decision to not hire.

One of my friend referred me. After 2 weeks HR called & started the process. Then in next 2 days they scheudled the interview & asked for 8.30 pm timeslot. I assumed that some US or Europe people is taking interview (which I could confirmed). Hence I agreed.
