I enjoyed interviewing with American Airlines. First, while applying it was a personality assessment/questionnaire. After a week or so, I received an invite for the virtual group interview. The virtual group interview was fun! I preferred it over just recording myself and answering questions like with Delta Air lines. About a week later, I was invited to the F2F. The F2F was a great experience. I flew in the day of the interview. Seriously, just be yourself. Everyone is super easy to talk to. Ask where they flew in from, what do they currently do for a living, etc. Engage! It’s just like what you would be doing on an aircraft with passengers. We started the day off being put into groups and filling out paperwork about a scenario.. rating it from how we would respond. Then we did icebreakers with our groups, which was the best part. After the icebreakers we went straight into interview panels. We had to answer a random situational/behavioral question from a pile we drew cards from. Just smile and don’t overthink it! We all answered two questions in total with two different recruiters. We watched a video about the job benefits and after that we all were called into different groups and escorted to shuttles or told to do a jumpseat test and reach test. After that we were called out individually to do a one on one interview and received cjos! I really think the group you’re placed into in the beginning plays a huge role. Almost everyone in our group was offered a cjo! We really did get along well and didn’t treat each other as competition. Overall, great experience! Standard interview questions just came off more intense because the opportunity doesn’t come too often!

Applied online took assessment test online one week later received email for a video interview. Taking my video interview today. Any advice from anyone who has gone through the process?!
