The actual interview process itself was fine until the end... It started with a phone interview then later an in-person interview and then... GHOSTED. Look if you don't want to hire a person that is fine, that is the employers' choice. But if you that person gets to the in-person interview stage and is rejected then he/she at the very least, at the very least should get a rejection email. It can be as standard as basic as "Dear Candidate, thank you for taking the time to interview with us, however we have decided not to pursue your application any further". - That's it, 1 or 2 sentences, heck you don't even need to use the interviewer's name. Its about common, basic, basic human decency. You don't need to type out some long winded, heart felt letter about we won't hire you, just a very standard "you are no longer in consideration" and this company could not even do that. It is incredibly unprofessional and it saddens me that you could/would not take the 5mins to send out a standard rejection email. Do better, Do better, with how long, how hard, how time consuming the job hunting process is these days, you should follow through, you should display professionalism even if you are not going to hire the candidate.
