I had an incredibly positive experience interviewing with the Andela team. My first call was with the recruiter who was excellent at his job. He got me excited about the opportunity right away and was very thorough in describing Andela's growth. I then met with the hiring manager who left a lasting impression. He was passionate and excited about the role and made sure the interview was 2-sided, giving me ample time to ask questions about the role and team. I then interviewed with three additional team members - all of them were equally as kind and thoughtful. I've had interviews in the past where the interviewers don't really acknowledge your responses to their questions, but that wasn't the case with the Andela team. Each person listened to what I had to say and made me feel at ease. My final interview was with their Chief People Officer who was incredibly bright and dynamic. We had a wonderful conversation and I was impressed with her openness and authenticity, especially as a C-suite executive. Although I did not accept the offer, I would say this was one of the best interview processes I've ever been through. The Andela team is warm, passionate, and human. I'll be cheering Andela on from the sidelines!
