I spent over a month participating in virtual/onsite interviews with a newly acquired company KLAS, for what was originally proposed as a “Fully Remote” position. The position was interesting however it was quite a bit junior compared to my experience level and skillset. That being said, this was a bait and switch position that went from “fully remote” to 2-3 days onsite/hybrid at a supplier (not Anduril) 2 hours away with no mileage reimbursement. I did not find this out until we had our offer meeting which was presented by a completely different person than who I’d been interviewing with previously. They also came in quite a bit under my current salary. The entire interaction process now makes me question how this company is going to produce reliable products for the US Military.
