I wish I read the interviews feedback on Glassdoor before agreeing to interview with this company. My experience was awful, clear lack of respect and appreciation for people's time. Keep in mind, I did not apply for a job, recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. I agreed to have a chat, we called, it was okay. The recruiter then asked me to apply to the role, which seemed strange, given we've already spoken and she had my details - I did apply however. The recruiter then informed me via email that the next step is "take-home test that all candidates have to complete - it's a 2-hour challenge, which you have to complete online". I thought it was nonsense for company to have such a big ask so early in the process (before even speaking to the hiring manager), but I had time and was curious to see what this task was, so agreed to it. I completed the 2-hour task with attention to detail and thought I did a good job. A couple of days later I received a very short feedback, just letting me know the company decided to move forward with other candidates.
I honestly think they just get people to do this task, so they can get free workforce and help them out - it's so disrespectful to not even take a moment to provide specific feedback after requesting for 2 hours of somebody's time.
Avoid at all cost and save your time/effort for a company that's respectful of candidates.
I applied and interviewed with the head of customer success. Interview went okay but then I received the shortest generic/automatic rejection email 2 minutes after the call. The least I could have gotten was a personal email from talent acquisition especially after having a first round interview. Rather I got something very impersonal with no feedback. Terrible experience.

This has to be the strangest interview process in my entire career. 2 15 minute calls, one with an internal recruiter and one with HR. Both individuals were friendly and I enjoyed speaking with them, but some of the questions were odd and very basic. I was under the impression these were purely character conversations...in what world does an interview last 15 minutes? How can you possibly determine the right individual for a role with a 15 minute chat without the hiring manager present?
I appreciate they are a startup and their will be lots of improvements to processes etc but this left a negative taste. I wish them success as it's a cool product that is genuinely doing some good
