Met a recruiting person at a university career fair. Took a closer look at the organization and applied for the position online. A month later, they scheduled me for a phone interview. Immediately after it was done, they sent me a digital assessment that involved a personality test, mental aptitude assessments, and practical exercises (one where I had to draft a hypothetical email to a client, another where I had to create a budget in Google Sheets). Later in the month, I got invited to a 1:1 virtual interview to go over my qualifications in more detail, and just a few days later they asked me to log into a third-round interview. However, there were issues with the video meeting software (I'm still not entirely sure what happened, but I think I got sent the wrong link), so the third interview began twenty minutes late. The two interviewers were nice, but I couldn't help but feel that they seemed disinterested throughout the process. Their questions didn't go in-depth, and they ended it after twenty minutes even though the interview was scheduled for an hour. I'm not sure if this was a consequence of the technical issues or if there were other factors at play. Either way, I got a rejection email the following week. I would not consider the process very intensive, but it was definitely more time-consuming than I would expect from an entry-level position.
