After I applied online for the "Engineer Who Can Design" position, I had an initial call with a co-founder and talked about projects I've worked on. Most of my experience is in web and product engineering, but the role focused a lot on design systems, which I wanted to hone in on more. After I did that, they let me know I probably wasn't a good fit for the role, and that I might be a better fit for another position they had (Product Engineer). I said I wasn't as interested in the other role since it was more fullstack focused and we ended the discussion there. It was a bit of a letdown since I was pretty interested, and they seem like a great company but at least they were really nice about it. I would recommend making sure you apply to the right position and can justify why you would be a good fit.

During one round with the Founder, I was supposed to interview with Director but interviewed with the founder. After that, I was given this technical challenge which is also available on their website Spent 3-4 hours working on it. Got email feedback within a day saying it was not good enough, it appeared to me that the reviewer did not understand what I had done and gave feedback. When I asked for a review again got ghosted. Lost 4 hours. The product seemed a good overall however lot of competition in this space to go IPO or get acquired, but I think the founder is driven and can achieve it
