I applied for a same title position in the same group under a different requisition number in October 2024 and heard nothing for nearly 3 months. At the end of January 2025, I had a Zoom interview with an AZ recruiter regarding the position. Note, I did not have access to the job description to this position and so did not know if it was notably different from the original I applied to. The hiring manager was interested enough with me to schedule a follow-on 1:1 Zoom call in February. At the end she told me to expect at least 2 weeks for her to interview others and then make a decision about who would continue. 2 weeks elapsed, and I checked the job portal (Workday) and saw I was listed as being interviewed but under yet another requisition number. Nearly a month and a half elapsed before I received the rejection email- oddly the req. # was different once again! (WTF?) I was told, "Following careful consideration, we won’t be taking your application any further on this occasion." As expected THESE days, I got no reply to my request for detailed feedback as to why I was dropped from consideration even though the recruiter provided her email at the end of the message.

Recruiter screen, then manager interview. Manager was looking for specific skills. There was a list of skills that were not listed in the job posting but were important for the position.
