The people I interviewed with were great but I am highly disappointed by the recruiters who failed to reschedule the final interview and never reached out confirming they had filled the role. I was scheduled to have a 3rd interview but had two reschedule twice (the first time I came down with a horrible cold and because the interview was in person I didn't want to get anyone else sick and asked for a reschedule.) The second time I was about 12 or so hours out from interviewing and had prepared a presentation per their instructions when I received a call that an emergency had taken place and they would need to reschedule. I had spent a large portion of my holiday weekend prepping and creating a PPT presentation and was excited to interview with the team. I had a pre-planned family vacation the following week which the recruiter was well aware of (and I couldn't cancel) and I made sure to specify I would be available to interview the Monday before my departure day and the following week. I never received an email or phone call confirming the new reschedule date and when I emailed to follow up received no answer. I checked the site and saw that the job posting was taken down, indicating that someone else was given the role. Needless to say, while I'm saddened at not being able to get the role I'm more disappointed by Astranis' recruiting team lack of professionalism.
