It was the most unprofessional recruitment process I’ve ever been part of. Initial HR contact was useless, arrived late to screening call and didn’t turn camera on. Agreed a time for the interview with via HR but she hadn’t put it in his calendar. Luckily he was free at the time and jumped on when I’d joined his Zoom room. Overall interview experience was good with hiring manager. Then was asked to complete an exercise, which contained poor instructions sent via a link that didn’t work. Put significant time in to ensure quality, then they did not review the task as it was ‘missing workings’ which weren’t requested in the task. I offered to retroactively prepare to help any miscommunication and was greeted by a rude response from HR. It was agreed to have a follow up interview to discuss working etc. to which wasn’t followed up on. Genuinely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a recruiter. I withdrew my application from the company as the experience was so bad and filled me with zero confidence in the quality of the organisation.
