Quite a terrible interview. After providing an initial insight about the project and asking to talk about myself, they decided to let another candidate in. The recruiter explained again the details of the project, which didn't exist yet but they predicted it would happen "soon". Once the team leader stepped in, they told us we'd be data engineers at first and only once they got the project we'd move to a data scientist position. After an hour of selling us the project as the "best data science project in Portugal", they required us to give an answer right away, without mentioning compensation. We both told we'd need a few days to think it through and they got really aggresive, telling us it is an once in a lifetime opportunity and we were very lucky to be there, as there were many people who would kill to have such an opportunity and were not that special. This lasted for about 30 minutes, until they gave up and gave us a few days to answer. There was no evidence the project would actually happen.
