I applied online through the Bae website. Around six weeks later I was sent an invitation for an in person interview. The interview was casual and we discussed the position and my relevant experience. It was a panel interview with a team member and the direct report. I followed the interview up with a thank you email for which I did not receive a response. Three weeks after the in person interview I inquired with the recruiter in regards to my status as an applicant and I reiterated my interest in the company and the position. I did not receive a response for this email either. It has been over six weeks since my interview and I have heard nothing. My application status states that the position is open. At this point in the process I will assume that I am not being considered for the position. I do not have a problem with not being selected. I have a real problem with being ignored and the lack of communication stating I have not been selected. Regardless of what happens I would not accept an offer or apply again. What is the point of assigning a recruiter to an applicant if they ignore all correspondence?
