Firstly the hiring manager reached out via iMessage. We messaged back and fourth rather late at night. First interview was more of a conversation about the role and my experience. After some more messaging very late at night, I was asked to come back in for a second interview. This again was more a conversation but another manager joined via conference. I was told they'd get back to me in a few days. Two weeks of no updates despite me checking in through various means. The hiring manager eventually responds and lets me know they're focused on internal candidates now. Messaging me past 10pm is one thing, but to treat the role like its urgent when it clearly isn't is another. Then to provide no response for such a long period of time is unacceptable. I could have left the interview location (overseas) and returned how. Incredibly inconsiderate. BMW is very unprofessional and a time waster company. Beware.
