I applied for the IT Manager position at Bazic Products. Virtual interview was scheduled but then I was told to go onsite. The role did not align with the IT Manager role. Instead of focusing on technology leadership such as managing network infrastructure, cloud systems, or Office 365, the position required heavy hands-on work in database administration and development tasks. The company is very small, with only two internal IT staff, so the role was more of a jack of all trades technical position than a true management role.
