You know, the job market for professionals is tough these days. Really tough. Like, "stare at your email all day, every day, for weeks, praying to God for a response" tough. So when I got an email, and then a phone call, about how someone at Bankers Life found my resume and wanted to interview me, I burst into tears. I have zero desire to sell insurance, and nowhere on my resume is there even the slightest indication that I might want to do sales. (For the record, I would rather work at McDonald's--no cold calls!)
If you're reading this, Bankers Life, thank you for ruining my day and making me want to throw my laptop into a lake out of frustration.

I never got this far. Thankfully, my fellow Glassdoor users spared me the insult of being herded into a room to be given our own sales pitch.

Very informative group interview. The company seems to have a great open door policy. I'm interested in seeing the future holds with this company. The training bootcamp seem to be a bit over kill but I'm sure I could use all of the training that's offered.

They start with a group information session to learn about the company and a little bit about the position. Then they set up an actual interview where you can ask more questions.

First thing to do when I get there is write down if I know anyone else who wants the job and their contact info. Then in the actual interview, there were barely any questions about me. I was the one asking the interviewer questions. Didn't really find out much about the company or average day of work. All they did was tell me how rich I can become if I work hard enough. Hmmmmmm..... seems like a MLM.
