Bankers Life got my resume off of Monsters.com. Received call from company recruiter inviting me to come in for info meeting. After meeting, was invited to stay for interview with Assist. Branch Mgr. He talked about their award winning training throughout an agent's career. Most important to me, at that time, was how New Agents make money. He said I would be teamed up with an experienced trainer with lots of clients. We would do annual reviews with the trainer's clients and most always write additional policies and the commissions would be split with me. This system was to continue until I had a nice stream of income, learned company products, how to present them and felt ready to be on my own. First, I had to go to life insurance school, pass the licensing test and then we would talk again.
