Face-to-face interview at Barclays Was advised by the recruitment agency it would be a competency-based interview. It was a mix of competency-based and unprofessional questions in a particular unrespectful attitude. The most unprofessional and personally unpleasant interview ever. I would have left, I only stayed because referred by a big recruitment agency, so it would have been taking the risk to be blacklisted from it. I will never re apply for this Bank. I was contacted another recruitment agency 2 months later for a role in another business unit, I said NO. If it is like that just on interview, I don't dare to imagine how nasty it is inside.

An on-line 2 stage interview 1st stage was with two employees at the same level, 2nd stage was with the line-manager. Each stage lasted aprox., 45 minutes in length. Quality of questioning was average
