Very quick turnaround after submitting an app. Two virtual interviews with various department staff. Was asked to prepare a presentation/some ideas to discuss in the second round but wasn’t actually asked to present it in the interview. Ultimately ghosted and received no response to a follow up email.

The interview process took roughly 4 and a half months with multiple meetings and very little regards for the candidate's time. The supervisor for the position seemed unsure of what she really wanted for the position. She also seem to be a bit naive about the amount of work that would be required. This helped to explain the low salary being offered. It was evident given her first round of questions that she did not take the time to really review my resume. The staff members seemed annoyed during the interview process as though they had been forced to participate and therefore seem wagered to finish it. At the end, I had to reach out for an update when they stopped responding. Seemed pretty unprofessional given the level of the position and the time invested. According to other colleagues, Barnard has a reputation for being exceedingly slow with hiring and with many administrative processes.
