I was asked in my first interview if I had coding skills which I said I did not. They told me it was not a problem for this role (which by the way they said hadn’t been defined yet because their policy is to hire good people first and then to find the role that fits them). A month later when I didn’t get an offer, they told me it was because I lacked coding skills.
