I applied online through the Founders Scholarship. I was then contacted the next day for a HireVue. I completed the HireVue and was contacted the next day to fly out to New York for an interview through the Founders Scholarship. The HireVue was a standard format asking why BlackRock and why I picked my major. The interview in New York was at a hotel with maybe 100+ other students interviewing for positions all across the firm. All the students had a 1st round interview the first day, but only a selected amount moved on to the super day the next day. My interview for the Business Operations internship was very relaxed. The VP of Business Operations in Latin America and another new employee interviewed me. They asked me very basic behavioral type of questions and mostly asked about my cover letter and resume. It felt very conversational. I thought I did great, but maybe my past experience wasn't what they were looking for. I found out at 11PM that night that I wasn't moving on to the next stage.
