First round with hiring manager. Outright told me halfway through the interview that they were going to switch gears and not proceed after giving me positive feedback on my answers. I was then contacted for 3 more panel interviews each 45 minutes over the next week so I assumed the "we're switching gears" was just to see how I responded to rejection. Went through the whole process and never got a call back. Called a couple of weeks later and was told "the team is gonna pass"
