Had an initial call with the hiring manager. Standard background & motivation review screen. The second interview was with one of the recruiting leads. This individuals was one of the most unprofessional, abrupt, combative and unfriendly people I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. It created a very negative impression of both the the team/function I was interviewing for, and the organization as a whole. If this team hopes to be the point of attraction for some very difficult-to-find talent in a very competitive market, then they are hurting themselves es with such an experience.
