First round aptitude test, then consultant interview then principal interview then final round partner interview.
The principal level interview for KL BCG is disappointing generally. The interviewers are not intellectually driven and concise; one even messed up with very basic financial concepts (cost-benefit analysis). The questions were easy but the interviewers were unprepared. Consequently, the questions were asked not to drive meaningful conversations but to merely complete the interview process.
Worse still, BCG consultants are supposed to provide feed-backs after the interview (especially for more advanced level interviews). No feedback was provided although the HR did mention that comments on the interview performance would be provided by the interviewers. This displays the overall attitude of BCG KL consultants (principals). Maybe they should look to their counterparts from different regions and learn how to behave like professional consultants.

2 one-to-one interviews with fit questions and case studies. One is about the mining industry's efficiency increase, and the other is the PE decision in investment in a specific electronic vehicle.

A entrevista revelou algumas fragilidades, sobretudo na componente de FIT, que me pareceu algo desalinhada e com várias perguntas pouco claras e, por vezes, pouco coerentes entre si. Faltou alguma estrutura e intencionalidade nessa fase, o que acabou por tornar a experiência menos consistente. Ainda assim, o case interview decorreu dentro do esperado, alinhado com o padrão habitual das restantes consultoras, sem surpresas relevantes.
