I walked in to Burger King prior to speaking to the a manager on the phone asking if they received my online application, they told me to come to Burger King because they don't receive applications online. I went to the store and talked to the manager I talked to on the phone and I could tell he really liked my vibe. He hired me on the spot.

Very straightforward, and comfortable with the interviewer. Basic interview questions and asked for availability immediately. Quick turnaround for decision. Start date soon after. Overall very easy process. Manager usually interviews.

Short process took 10 minutes total. Boss was friendly and I got a free whopper out of deal. Overall a very positive experience but this was 30 years ago. But again this interview was 30 years ago.
