I had a generally positive interview experience with Buro Happold including a phone screen and two rounds of interviews. The recruiter, Jake, was very proactive and would call me with updates. However, my opinion of the process and the entire firm soured with how they let me know I wasn't moving forward. I got a generic email on a Sunday afternoon from a do-not-reply email that said they were "not progressing my application at this time." Obviously I did not receive any feedback on the interviews. I might be old school, but I think a recruiter should call or at least email with news they aren't moving forward with a candidate if that candidate has given their time to interview with members of the team. Jake was SO thorough with communications so to receive this generic email was incredibly disappointing in the firm.
