      Colloquio per Associate Director, Operations

      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso CARVANA (Atlanta, GA) nel mese di gen 2019

      Colloquio

I was approached by the them on Linked In, which happens frequently but I was pleasantly surprised by the “heart” of the message. I responded back, which led to a very quick call with them. Good, quick screening call that led to a longer and more in-depth chat with another manager. We had a great conversation and I felt we were clicking. She invited me to Phoenix for an in-person day of interviews. There was a mess of travel arrangements (not receiving my travel itinerary until the morning I was set to leave) and hotel arrangements (my hotel was booked for the incorrect day) as well as a mess of interviews (I was interviewed 5 times in 4 different rooms) that led me to believe this company is totally disorganized. The interviews went well, although I could quickly tell that no one was particularly interested to be there or to be interviewing me. There was a total lack of humility by the senior leadership team, as if they wanted to believe that this was the greatest company on earth. This was evident in their candor, how they handled themselves, and their “forced cult excitement”. Following the interviews, I was told I would hear back after the holiday weekend. I reached out once to both interviewers, but was ignored by both—after flying out to Phoenix whilst being recruited by their company! If I were to guess, I think they wanted a “yes man” in position—something there was an obvious abundance of already. Massive lack of professionalism and business maturity from this company. I would avoid, unless desperate.
