After a screening and initial phone call, I came in to the LA office to interview with the design team - a full hour long presentation in front of 8 people and three 2-on-1 interviews. I followed up immediately after expressing my thoughts of how the day went... and was ignored. A week goes by and I follow up - I received a response saying I'd find out by EOD. 11 days[!] go by and I follow up again - finally I get an email saying I didn't get the position. I thank the recruiter and ask them to provide any feedback from the team, having spent 3 hours with them... was ignored again. A week goes by and I follow up again - still ignored. Another week goes by, final attempt - ignored. This behavior is just rude and unprofessional. I don't mind that I didn't get the position, but don't blow your candidates off when they're not the right fit. I spent 3 hours with their team, drove an hour each way to go to their office, and hours of prep for my presentation just to received a "no".
