I've applied for CMSS in February of 2017 through college campus. The process took 2 days. On first day, I had to undergo 3 paper-pen tests where first test was an aptitude test containing Simple Interest, Distance and other analytical questions. I, basically applied for two positions i.e. Java developer as well as SQL developer due to my proficiency in both the fields. So far Java's test there was aptitude like test to test candidate's logic and problem solving ability. On the other hand, for SQL, there was a subjective test containing 10 questions, wherein detailed answers in terms of explanation, queries and examples were expected. I cleared out all the written tests and got shortlisted for the interview process. On first day, I undergone one interview taken by the SQL expert guy in the company in which I was asked many question related to SQL basics, Joins, Keys, etc. I was also presented some real life scenarios and I was asked to draw the solution for them in terms of SQL queries. The day was called out. On the second day of the process, another interview was taken by the business head of the company where he asked me some repeated questions those I already faced in my previous interview. Again lot of questions were asked related to the projects I did so far which were mentioned in my resume. Then I was called for the second interview which was taken by another senior person of the company where he asked me majorly about my current academic project and also asked me to solve a problem in my aptitude test that I was not able to solve previously. After this round HR set up my meeting with a product manager of the company in which he asked me about my life goals and he appreciated my resume. The nature of this round was quite informal and finally I was offered a job. 7 days later I got the soft copy of my offer letter on mail. The overall process took 4-5 hours per day. It was positive and encouraging. It was managed nicely except some delays and waiting time. Assigning preference while screening to project work and assignments over academic marks is really appreciated.
