I heard back about a week after applying online I was selected for a phone interview. It was with recruiting and went about 40 min. They indicated they wanted to move me through to meet the hiring manager. This was via teams and scheduled for a half hour but went well & almost an hour. The next day the recruiter asked for feedback and said the hiring manager wanted to make an offer. We talked through salary, benefits, PTO, etc., they just had to get it approved by compensation to put it in writing. 4 days later they apologized for the delay and told me I had to meet with the hiring manager’s manager. I did this via teams & it went well. I didn’t hear anything back for 3 weeks and it was a generic email box message thanking me for applying but that they were not moving forward. I’ve never experienced such a thing as presenting a verbal offer then going back on it. I felt this was very disrespectful to not even be contacted by the recruiter that gave me the offer.
