first round- written test(90 minutes)(part A :aptitude, reasoning(40 questions) + part B: C,dbms & basic computer science questions(60 questions) + one essay second round - group discussion( normal GD's not very tough and tricky) third round - HR( basic questions like tell me something about yourself and other basic stuff) final round - technical round (on manual testing, html, c,c++,java..)

I got a call from bangalore about a vacancy in indore location. The interview got scheduled. The HR on call asked few questions about my current job responsibilties & other relevant HR questions. 1st round was technical. After i cleared that, 2nd round was technical cum managerial round. All went smoothly. The manager even said that the HR will contact me for further formalities while leaving. I did not receive any call for about a week. Later, i only called that HR in bangalore asking about the status of my interview. She said the managers had decided to keep the position itself on hold for the time being and she will let me know the exact status after 15 days. A month passed in a hope that i will get a positive response from them as all had went very smoothly for me. But after a month i called her, she said the position is filled now as they have done an internal recruitment, interdepartment recruitment. I was shocked to hear that. My hopes were shattered. I just want to say you guys that pleaseeeeeee dont interview people from outside the company if u have already decided to go for internal recruitment. It feels awful when this happens to someone whose hope, patience, blood and sweat are involved in getting a job.
