      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso CYPHER LEARNING (Seattle, WA) nel mese di mag 2026

      Colloquio

There are a lot of red flags here: I applied on their website and received an email from their internal recruiter telling me that they wanted to schedule me for an initial interview with their “VP of People & Culture”. Per their request, I replied to their email within an hour of receiving it (on a Wednesday) and sent them my availability for the interview. I didn’t receive a reply of any kind, so on Friday I sent a message via LinkedIn to the person who had requested my availability. She replied on Monday and my initial interview was scheduled. After a successful meeting with VP of People & Culture, I was moved forward to an interview with the hiring manager and an “Operating Executive” at Cypher Learning. They were very friendly and engaging during the interview. However, they told me that the implementation department doesn’t have much documentation for their existing employees and the training process they described for new hires seemed to lack structure and scalability, which is extremely ironic coming from a company that provides learning management software. At the end of the interview I was told that, because of their busy schedules, I might not receive an update regarding the status of my application for up to weeks. 15 days after my meeting with the hiring manager I sent an email to the VP of People & Culture. Three business days after sending that email, I sent an email to the hiring manager, because I hadn’t received a reply from the VP of People & Culture. About 30 minutes after I sent the email to the hiring manager, I received an automated reply advising me that they had “chosen to move forward with another candidate”. Overall, I was left with impression that Cypher Learning is a chaotic, unprofessional organization. If I hadn’t been laid off 2 months ago, I would have dropped out of the hiring process after the delay in scheduling my initial interview with the VP of People & Culture. I would only recommend applying here if you are unemployed and desperate for a job.
