      Great product, shame they treat their candidates like disposable garbage. If you want a job, apply, if you want to work for a company with values & respect for people, don't bother. Please read through the many reviews that describe a similar experience, and believe them. This is for a UK based role. I applied on LinkedIn & was booked for a 45 mins interview with a Talent Acquisition rep a couple of days later. In that session, I was given further detail into the role, the culture at Canva & the team I was going to manage. The TA asked very good questions, I thought they were appropriate for the role and I enjoyed the conversation. 24 hours later they confirmed I was going to the next stage and I was booked to meet the hiring manager a few days later. That day, I go on the meeting link and nobody shows up. I email the 2 TA's I have been in conversation with, they both have an OOO on, so I am left with no choice but to send an In Mail to the hiring manager on LinkedIn. They replied saying there was a mix up with the time zones and we will be rebooked. I was rebooked 10 days later, after I had to chase the TA. The interview finally happens, once again, a good conversation, experience based questions mostly, with a couple of scenario based questions. At the end of the interview, I am told by the hiring manager that they believe my experience and expertise are relevant to the role and they will ask the TA to book me in for the next stage. A week goes by and I don't hear back, so I chase the TAs. No response, so a week later I chase again. No response, so I chase the hiring manager on Linked in again a few days later. They read the message the next day, but they don't reply either. I am a hiring manager and I know how overwhelming recruitment can be. However, there is absolutely no excuse for lack of communication altogether. I don't expect detailed feedback if I am rejected because at management level positions, feedback is not as impactful, or necessary as it is for a graduate role, or for someone at the start of their career. However, it is best practice to have a standard response informing the candidate of their rejection. Particularly if all the feedback you have given so far has been positive & you have told them that they are going through to the next stage, so they are awaiting a calendar invite. Just very disappointing & disrespectful.
