4-5 rounds of interviews with a recruiter, the supervisor and several other senior leaders. Intense questions to determine if you are who you say you are and if you have the chops for the job. It took over a month to interview and this piece was difficult, but enlightening about the requirements for the job. Ultimately, I received a job offer, signed a contract, and they rescinded it ONE week before my start date because of an explainable and verifiable discrepancy on my background check. This left me without a job after I turned down another offer. My family lost 80% of our income, our insurance and special needs services for my kids. I will never forget this experience just for that alone. DO NOT plan leave your current job before you have your laptop in hand, even with a signed offer. Horrible ending experience. The recruiter went radio silence once the offer was made. Would never re-apply or recommend for the way this ended.
