I was called for an interview in May 2018. It was a 2 person interview panel. I am currently a Finance Manager with another school system so there were no unexpected questions. I thought I had a good rapport with the hiring manager and the other staff member. I received positive vibes and was told about next steps twice. I waited a month for the hiring manager to finally get back to me and tell me they went with another candidate. If you are African American, you more than likely will not be hired in the Central Office. Your qualifications won't matter.
