I would like to share some comments and questions that came up during the interview that were offensive and felt as an attack at my experience and credibility. The interview began with them asking for my background. As soon as i finished talking about my background, One of the interviewers asked if i was a contract employee. I told him that yes, I am a contract employee for a big pharma company. "people from CROs don't seem to be able to handle themselves in this role." "people at CROs are used to easy work in big pharma and its a lot different here" "why do you think you will be able to perform here?" At this point that was the 3rd negative comment that he made about CRO employees. I felt completely disrespected and discriminated against all because of the company that pays my check. I was shocked at the direction this interview was going and felt uncomfortable. I stopped the conversation and said, "I feel like you have a very negative outlook on people from CROs but i can assure you that I work extremely hard and I've worked very hard to get to where i am now".
